Marine construction

Docks & Piers

New docks, long marsh-crossing piers and full rebuilds, framed on driven pilings and built for salt water.

What we do

Docks & Piers, done right

A dock is only as good as what holds it up. We drive the pilings, frame the structure and lay the decking ourselves, so the pier you walk out on is solid from the mud line to the handrail.

What’s included

  • New residential docks and piers
  • Long piers across marsh and shallows
  • Rebuilds and repairs of storm-damaged or aging docks
  • Decking, framing and handrail replacement
  • Platforms, T-heads and kayak or boat landings
  • Walkways and boardwalks to the water

Questions

Docks & Piers FAQ

Do you repair existing docks or only build new ones?

Both. We rebuild and repair docks and piers as well as build new ones. Call or send photos and we will tell you whether a repair or a rebuild makes more sense.

Do I need a permit for a new dock?

Most work over tidal water needs local, state or federal approval. We will talk through what your project is likely to need during the estimate.
